Booster Club Holiday Tournament Information

It is our privlege to welcome you to the Annual Wellsboro Holiday Basketball Tournament. The dates are set for Wednesday and Thursday, December 28 & 29, 2011.

Schools participating in the tournament this year are as follows:

Girls

• Mansfield
• Sayre
• Troy
• Wellsboro

Boys

• Bellefonte
• Sayre
• Northeast Bradford
• Wellsboro

The tournament will consist of JV & Varsity girl and boys teams. All games are scheduled to be played in the new Wellsboro High School gymnasium. We are not planning to have entry fees for teams participating in the tournament. We ask that each team suply its own scorekeeper. The designated home team will be the official book. Wellsboro will supply game balls for all games.

Medals will be presented to each member of the championship Varsity team as well as a team trophy to the championship JV and Varsity teams. In addition, plaques will be presented to the individuals chosen for the All-Tournament Varsity girls and boys teams.

The Wellsboro High School Booster Club will be hosting the tournament and will have a concession stand open throughout tournament games offering a variety of food and drinks.

Admission for the tournament will be $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for students and college students who have ID. These prices cover one or all games for one day of the tournament. Coaches, team members, cheerleading squads, and bus drivers will be admitted without charge.

Each team will be assigned a classroom to change prior to their game. The home team for boys' games will wear white and access the boys' locker room at halftime and following their game. The visiting team for boys' games will wear dark and access the girls' locker room at halftime and following their game. The home team for girls' games will wear white and access the girls' locker room at halftime and following their game. The visiting team for girls' games will wear dark and access the boys' locker room at halftime and following their game.
