The Middle School girls basketball team picked up their seventh straight win as they defeated Liberty 41-28 last night. Sarah Ingerick had a team high 15 points along with 6 steals and 2 assists. Alexa Singer added 8 points and Darci Warriner chipped in 6.

"We had a tough test tonight with Liberty's Chelsea Repard who scored 11 points in the first half (15 for the game)," said head coach Darrell Morris. "We played excellent team defense in the 3rd quarter, while going on a 15-2 run to pull away."

In the B-Team game, Wellsboro won 28-8.

With the win, the Hornets improve their record to 8-1 overall. The team will be back in action on Friday, March 9, as they host Mansfield.
