Middle School girls trounce Cowanesque

The Wellsboro Middle School girls basketball team improved their record to 5-1 as they defeated Cowanesque 40-10 last night. Sarah Ingerick scored 10 points while Jenny Young, Joey Taft, and Jada Jackson each chipped in 6 more to lead the Hornets.
"The girls did an excellent job passing the ball and finding the open player," said head coach Darrell Morris.
The B team also won their game, 30-4. The team will be back in action next Tuesday, February 28, as they host Galeton.
