M.S. boys bball tops Liberty, 38-12

The Wellsboro Middle School boys basketball team picked up their first win of the season as they defeated Liberty 38-12 on the road Monday night.

Jacob Singer led all Hornets with 11 points, Bryon Callahan and Brandon Lamphier each had 8 points, and Collin Pietropola added 5 points. Rounding out the scoring for the Hornets were Dalton Prough, Cole Cavanaugh, and Ethan Nichols with 2 points each.

In the B game, the Hornets won 26-10.

With the win, the A team improves their record to 1-3 overall. The team will be back in action on Tuesday, March 5 as they host Cowanesque Valley.
