The Wellsboro Varsity Boys Basketball team suffered a heartbreaking 55-53 loss in the final seconds to Wyalusing on Saturday, January 25.

"It was a tough loss but the boys never gave up and fought to the end," said head coach Steve Adams.

Wellsboro trailed 14-12 after the 1st quarter and found themselves down 3, 25-22, at halftime. Wyalusing maintained the lead after outscoring the Hornets 15-10 in the 3rd, but Wellsboro made a run late in the 4th quarter. As the Rams built a 10-point lead, Wellsboro rallied to tie the game up late at 53-all.
