Adams Named NTL Offensive Player Of The Year, 5 Hornets Named To NTL All-Star Basketball Teams

Senior Conner Adams was named the NTL's Offensive Player of the Year as the league announced their All-Star basketball teams on Tuesday, March 28.

Adams was the Hornets' second leading scorer this year with 335 points and led the team by shooting .789 (71-of-90) from the foul line while making 164 assists and 59 steals.

In addition to Adams' honor, four other Hornets were named to the NTL All-Star teams. For the boys seniors Peyton McClure (1st team) and Cameron Brought (2nd team) made the team. On the girls side, sophomores Paige Logsdon (1st team) and Chloe Brandenburg (2nd team) were on the team.

McClure led the Hornets with 359 points (72 three-pointers) this season en route to setting Wellsboro's career three-point record (194).

Brought led Wellsboro with 295 rebounds, was 3rd in scoring with 329 points, and had 14 double-doubles.

Brandenburg led the Lady Hornets with 248 points, was 3rd on the team with 80 rebounds, and 2nd in assists (35) and steals (43).

Logsdon was Wellsboro's 2nd leading scorer with 206 points and led the team with 220 rebounds and 16 blocked shots. She also recorded 5 double-doubles.
